Who Was St. Ann

O God of all the nations,
the One God who is and was
and always will be,
you willed that your Church
be united to the suffering of your Son.
Look with mercy on your servants
who are persecuted for their faith in you.
Grant them perserverance and courage
to be worthy imitators of Christ.
Bring your wisdom upon leaders of nations
to work for peace amoung all peoples.
May your Spirit open conversion
for those who contradict your will,
that we may live in harmony.
Give us the grace to be united
in truth and freedom,
and to always seek your will in our lives.
Through Christ our Lord.  Amen.
Our Lady, Queen of Peace, pray for us.

Prayer composed by
Archbishop William E. Lori, Baltimore

The St. Ann Catholic Church family wants to connect with you.  If you are unable to come to church because you are sick, in rehab from surgery, living at a health care center or you live alone, please let the office know.  A deacon, priest, or a home visitor will come to your home.  When you need to go to confession or receive the anointing of the sick, call our office, 815-467-6962 ext. 0.  If there is an emergency of illness or death call the main number and press ext. 8, if it is after 3 p.m. or on the weekend.  Your cross of ill health or living alone and unable to come to mass is such a difficult sacrifice for you.  In being the only priest, I will do my best to serve your spiritual needs.  Your family at St. Ann, prays for you.  Please email our prayer line coordinator Rose at rr76rs@att.net or call the office 815-467-6962 ext. 0, to let us know what is going on, if you are preparing for surgery, recovering from surgery or live alone.  We do care about you.  God bless you and keep you in His Care.
